Psychology Ch.1

Psychological science is an empirical science where you learn how the mind works. The mind controls your thoughts while the brain is more physical stuff like breathing and making sure your heart stays beating. there are four levels there is biological, individual, social, and culturual. Woman have made important findings in psychology but not tell recently that they have been taken seriously in there findings. Criticle thinking is a way of thinking and looking at stuff. I think your critical thinkings skills can improve if you learn more about psychology because you understand how your mind works and how you can improve it. MRF watches the utilization of oxygen by the brain to see what parts of the brain are working at what times. Empirical is something that you learn through your senses and psychology is lot of uses of the senses. Over time the brain has adapted by learning new languages and stuff like that. Psychologist and therapist both use knoledge from psychological science.
